Shawna Wagar grew up in Indiana and spent many summers at her grandparents’ home in Cape Haze, Florida, exploring the white sandy beaches of Boca Grande. Over a decade ago, she decided to make Cape Haze her full-time home. Now as a resident, she is delighted to share her passion for the area with homebuyers and sellers in Boca Grande and the surrounding coastal communities.

Shawna is a dedicated real estate professional with over a decade of experience in the industry. With a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and experience in contract law, Shawna has honed a unique blend of skills that enhance her ability to navigate the complexities of the real estate market and deliver exceptional service to clients. She chose to work with the market leader, Gulf to Bay Sotheby’s International Realty, in order to provide her customers with the most powerful tools, local knowledge and international property exposure in the industry. Shawna’s enthusiastic, upbeat attitude goes hand-in-hand with her sharp business acumen to ensure smooth and successful real estate transactions.

As the President of the Boca Grande Chamber, Shawna plays a pivotal role in fostering business growth and community development. Her leadership extends to education as well, serving as the Secretary of the Island School PTO, where she contributes to the advancement of educational initiatives and support for students and teachers.

In addition to professional and community roles, Shawna is a dedicated volunteer with the Friends of Boca Grande, an organization committed to enriching the local community.

In her spare time, Shawna enjoys boating, fishing, and golfing with her husband and three sons, embracing the outdoor lifestyle and family time that Boca Grande offers.
